Our collab with CoolHaus šŸ¦šŸ˜Ž

Ice cream ad for Filipino American History Month, featuring founders and chefs.

In case you didn't know, October is Filipino-American History MonthĀ (FAHM)! Filipino-Americans make up the third-largest ethnic group in California andĀ greatly influence our local food scene.Ā

In order to make things even sweeter this month, two of your favorite Filipina-owned brands, Spread The LoveĀ® and Coolhaus have teamed upĀ on a special edition ice cream flavor, Turon-osaurus Almond Butter!Ā

The incredible new flavorĀ pays homage to a popular Filipino dessert street food, called Turon, which is traditionally made from fried saba bananas wrapped in spring roll pastry wrapper coated in caramelized brown sugar. This take on the yummy dessert mimics the traditional Filipino deep-fried banana rolls with the addition of Spread The LoveĀ®ā€™s rich and ultra-creamy UNSALTED Almond Butter.

The special edition flavor is available all-month longĀ at Coolhaus' scoop shop! In keeping up with the special month,Ā Turon-osaurus Almond ButterĀ is also being featured as a dessert at three amazing Filipina-led restaurants: Yamashiro Hollywood, Rossoblu and Superfine Pizza.
