Happy New Year Fam!
New year, new you, right? It's a little cliché, but it also seems to be an ambition that is shared by many people each year. We understand the pressures of the new year and want to give you some advice on how we create our “New Year’s Resolutions”. This year we have a different outlook on how we set our goals.
Setting IntentionsWhat if instead of resolutions, we set intentions? Making small but positive changes to our daily life that can increase happiness and contentment leading up to 2023. For example, instead of setting a goal like “eat healthy” set the intention of eating food that makes your body feel good & energized for the day. To make those small changes each day we like to strive to be 1% better every day. We like to focus on ONE thing that we can do every day to make our habits and lives better as a whole.
These could include:
- Making your bed
- Meditating
- Daily walks (15-20 minutes)
- Switching to clean ingredient products
- Trying a new healthy recipe at home
By the end of the month, you’ll be 30% better and have healthy habits that will make a positive impact. Just remember when setting your intentions & habits:
- Be REALISTIC
- Reward yourself
- Don’t pressure yourself with goals, set intentions to make you feel motivated
Cheers to a new year and remember to keep spreading the love!
