Celebrating FAHM with Spread The Love

Celebrating FAHM with Spread The Love

October is Filipino American History Month—a special time to honor the rich heritage, history, and contributions of Filipino Americans. For our co-founder, Val Fishbain, this month is a heartfelt reminder of her roots and the importance of celebrating her Filipino culture. It’s a time for all of us to reflect, learn, and appreciate the diverse stories that shape our community.

At Spread The Love, we’re all about nourishing connections and sharing the love, which is why we’re highlighting our fellow incredible Filipino American brands to support and celebrate this month:

1. Passion Planner: Founded by Angelica Trinidad, Passion Planner is more than just a planner—it’s a tool to help you define and chase your dreams. With its structured layouts and goal-setting features, it’s perfect for anyone looking to organize their life and passions.

2. Abakada: Abakada is a streetwear brand that blends Filipino cultural elements with contemporary fashion. Their unique designs are inspired by Filipino heritage and are a stylish way to showcase and celebrate Filipino culture.

3. Sanzo: Sanzo is the first Asian-inspired sparkling water brand, featuring flavors like calamansi, lychee, and mango. These refreshing drinks offer a taste of traditional Filipino flavors in a modern, bubbly form.

4. Cafe 86: is a dessert cafe specializing in Filipino-inspired treats, like their famous ube-flavored cakes and drinks. Ube, a purple yam native to the Philippines, has become a fan favorite, and Cafe 86 brings this vibrant flavor to life in ways you’ve never tasted before.

5. Narra: Founded by Filipino American siblings Miggy and Victoria Reyes. This beverage brand brews Asian tea lattes for smooth & focused energy. No added sugar and free from dairy for a good and modern take on merienda.

This Filipino American History Month, let’s honor the past, celebrate the present, and support the future by uplifting these amazing brands. Explore their products, share their stories, and join us in spreading the love for Filipino culture and community. After all, Filipino American History is American History.

Happy Filipino American History Month! 🎉
