This healthy and hearty breakfast is the perfect way to enjoy oats all summer long! Our version makes enough oats for our family of four - but this recipe can easily be reduced or doubled depending on how many portions you need.
2 cups nondairy milk of choice
3 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup Spread The Love® Unsalted Almond Butter
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
1/4 cup Spread The Love® Marionberry Artisan Jam (1 tbsp per serving) Extra Spread The Love® Unsalted Almond Butter, for drizzling
Berries (we like blueberries and blackberries)
Pinch of salt, if desired
1. In a large jar or medium bowl, combine almond milk, chia seeds, 1/4 cup almond butter, and maple syrup or honey, stirring until combined.
2. Add the oats and stir until oats are completely moistened.
3. Cover jar or bowl completely, and store in the refrigerator overnight (or at least 8 hours). 4. To serve, top each serving with 1 tbsp Marionberry jam, an extra drizzle of almond butter, berries, sliced almonds, and a pinch of salt if desired. Enjoy!
