Our team loves working with St. Joseph's Center in continuing our commitment to #SpreadTheLoveForward. This Thursday (2/27), Spread The Love® co-founders, Val and Zach will be back at the annual Taste of SJC event as 2020 Photo Booth Sponsors. These two are no strangers to Taste of SJC. Last year, we partnered with New York Apple Sales and served guests with griddled peanut butter & jelly sandwiches with thinly sliced Koru® apples. Glad we could contribute to the success of the event. More than $63K was raised, 7 CTP students hired, over 300 attendees and 32 restaurant and beverage companies participated.
This year we are serving up a different kind of goodness to attendees by setting up the super fun, very instagram-able STL Kissing (photo) booth.
It's not all eating, drinking and fun--we're also supporting a great cause. Taste of SJC connects LA's top restaurants, beverage brands, and #foodiesforsjc to support St. Joseph Center's food programs which provides food to low income families while teaching them how to cook nutritious meals at home, serves the homeless with dignity at the Bread and Roses cafe, and through their Culinary training program, trains culinary students for free and helps them land jobs in the food industry. We are also excited that they are honoring a fellow Filipina, Mohawk Bend Executive Chef Caroline Concha, who is a graduate of the St. Joseph's Center Culinary Training Program.
