How to Reuse Your Spread The Love Jars

Ever think what to do with one of our jars when it's empty? Most people tend to throw our jars away, but our jars can be reused in creative and practical ways. In celebration of Earth Day, here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Refill: Our favorite way to reuse our jars is to refill them with more PB! We offer our 15-Pound Pails of Peanut Butter & Almond Butter, which is a great way to save money and reuse your old Spread The Love Jars. You can even fill some jars for your friends if you feel like spreading some love!
  • Storage Containers: Close to finishing your jar? Our favorite way to finish a jar (or pail) of nut butter is to make overnight oats in the jar! This is an easy and delicious way to reuse your jar. We also always use our jars to store food items such as nuts, oats, and seeds. You can even use it as storage for non-food items such as office supplies, crafts materials, and even hardware tools.
  • Planter: If you love gardening or just need an easy planter pot, you can repurpose Spread The Love Jars as planters. They are perfect for small plants and herbs, and you can decorate and design them with paint or labels to create a unique garden display. Read more about how we like to use our jars as planters here.
  • Piggy BankWant a fun DIY to do with the kids? Instead of buying a piggy bank, why not make one out of a jar? All you need to do is cut a slit on the lid and decorate the jar with stickers, paint, or markers. It is a fun and practical way to teach children about saving money and the environment!

Our jars can be reused in many creative and practical ways. By repurposing them you can reduce your environmental impact and save money at the same time! So, the next time you finish a jar of our nut butter think twice before throwing it away. With some creativity and effort, you can turn it into something useful or a fun activity.

  • We are very water conscious and hate to waste water. What is the easiest way to clean your bottles for recycling.
