What's in this product?

What is a marionberry?

A marionberry is a variety of blackberry — richer, deeper, and more complex than a standard blackberry. The flavor is bold, jammy, and distinctly Northwest American.

What kind of jar is it in?

11.5 oz glass jar.

Why no pectin?

Most commercial jams use pectin as a cheap thickener. We chose not to. Getting our jam to set naturally without it took real work — the fruit wasn't thickening the way we needed — but we kept our standard.

Two ingredients. That's it.

Do the jams need to be refrigerated?

Yes, the jams need to be refrigerated after opening.

    My Child and I love this

    Speaking to all the Spread The Love products I've tried - one of the things I appreciate best about them is the reasonable amount of sweetness/sugar in it. Many similar products have so much added sugar that it tastes ridiculously sweet. And I do not enjoy ridiculously sweet foods.

    I did not use to have any jam stocked on my fridge, but now I do because of this (and the raspberry jam). My kid, most especially, like to have this in his PBJ sandwich.
