Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting Spread The Love! We take immense pride in crafting small-batch, high-quality products and delivering them safely to your doorstep. Please review our shipping practices, timelines, and terms below.

1. Processing & Fulfillment Timelines

  • Standard Processing: All orders are processed within 2 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and major holidays) before they are handed off to our shipping carriers.

  • High-Volume Periods: During peak holiday seasons, promotional events, or new product launches, processing times may be extended. We appreciate your patience as our small team works diligently to pack your order with care.

  • Order Tracking: You will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number as soon as your order has been labeled and is ready for carrier pickup. Please allow up to 24–48 hours for the tracking information to update.

2. Domestic Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We ship to addresses within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and P.O. Boxes.

  • Free Shipping: We are proud to offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders of $50 or more (pre-tax, after discounts are applied, non-wholesale only).

  • Flat Rate & Calculated Shipping: For orders under $50, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the package weight and destination. We use a flat rate of $10 shipping fee for domestic shipping only.

  • Delivery Estimates: Standard shipping typically takes 3 to 7 business days once the carrier scans the package. Please note that transit times are estimates provided by the carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and are not guaranteed by Spread The Love LLC.

3. Address Accuracy & Modifications

Customers are entirely responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered at checkout is correct and complete.

  • Incorrect Addresses: If a package is returned to our facility because of an incomplete, invalid, or incorrect address provided by the customer, the order is ineligible for a standard refund. If you request that we reship the package to a corrected address, you will be responsible for the actual cost of the new shipping label.

  • Intercepting Orders: Because we aim to process orders quickly, we cannot guarantee that we can modify a shipping address after an order is placed. Please review your confirmation email immediately and notify us at hello@spreadthelovefoods.com right away if you spot an error.

4. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Spread The Love LLC is responsible for fulfilling and shipping your order, but we do not operate the delivery carriers.

  • Marked as Delivered: Once a carrier marks a package as "Delivered," our legal delivery obligation is complete. We are not responsible for packages that are stolen from porches, stoops, or mailrooms. We highly recommend tracking your shipment closely and ensuring someone is available to receive it.

  • Carrier Delays: Weather conditions, high carrier volume, and technical disruptions are out of our control. We cannot issue refunds or credits for packages that arrive later than the carrier's estimated delivery date

5. Damaged or Melting Shipments

We utilize secure packaging to ensure your jars arrive intact. However, rough transit can occasionally cause issues.

  • Transit Damage: If your package arrives damaged or leaking, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@spreadthelovefoods.com with your order number and clear photographic evidence of the damaged shipping box and products. We review these situations on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility for a replacement.

  • Warm Weather & Product Separation: Because our nut butters are completely natural, free from stabilizers, and contain no hydrogenated oils, natural oil separation is completely normal. In warm weather or climates, the product may arrive warmer or more liquid than usual. This is not a defect. Simply stir the jar thoroughly and place it in the refrigerator for a few hours to help it firm up.

6. International Shipping

At this time, Spread The Love primarily ships within the United States. We do not offer standard international shipping through our website. For wholesale inquiries or international retail partnerships, please contact our team directly.
